Being There for Someone: Compassion That Heals Hidden Hurts

Pain can be quiet. Sometimes it hides behind smiles or polite words. Sometimes it’s so heavy that even the people closest to us can’t see it. And yet, in those moments, compassion, the kind that really shows up, can be life-changing. Being there for someone isn’t about having the right words. It isn’t about fixing them or pretending you know everything. It’s about noticing. Listening. Standing beside them and saying, without saying it, I see you. You’re not alone.
