Devotional #1: The Love of God
We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 NIV The love of God is a kind of love you will never find anywhere else. You can search the world for something similar, yet nothing will ever come close. His love is different, unique, natural, deep, profound, holy, pure, royal. Sometimes when His love touches you, it feels like fire moving through your veins, filling your lungs, settling in your heart like an intense heartbeat that your chest tries to hold, only He can steady. It is a love that cannot be replaced, substituted, or matched. This love awakens your emotions.
