Lessons From Conception
There is a special kind of knowing that comes when you realize you’ve been chosen to carry something. It starts small. It’s quiet. It’s a secret you hold close to your heart before you ever share it with the world.
For a mother, that weight is physical.
For a dreamer, it’s spiritual.
We walk our paths with a certain pride, protecting the life growing inside us, believing it is our job to be the only ones who keep it safe. But what happens when the journey becomes too heavy? What happens when you reach the point where you can no longer carry the weight, and the seed you carry has to be moved to a place you cannot follow?
The Crisis of Empty Hands
In The Conception, there is a moment that feels confusing: surrendering your plan, your project, your seed not because you want to, but because you are afraid of losing it completely.
Sometimes surrender is asked of us. Sometimes it is required.
In this story, God, the Doctor, sees the danger and decides the seed must be placed in an incubator, somewhere warm and safe.
To the dreamer…
To the mother standing outside a NICU…
To anyone watching their dream be put on hold…
This can feel like a fight. Like something has gone wrong. And when what you were carrying is taken out of your hands, the silence that follows can feel deafening. But sometimes, what we carry is so precious and so new that it needs a level of care that goes beyond our own strength.
The incubator is not a sign that you were not enough.
It is a sign that what you conceived is so important that God provides a special environment for it to grow stronger.
Inside that quiet, glass-walled space, invisible work is happening:
- Lungs are learning to breathe.
- The heart is finding its rhythm.
- Strength is being built in the silence.
This is where true faith is built.
You learn that you are still the carrier of the purpose, even when you are no longer physically holding it. You learn to trust timing. You learn that absence does not mean abandonment.
Because there is a day coming when that seed will no longer be fragile and hidden. It will be whole. It will be ready to breathe the air of the world. And you will finally understand that the time in the incubator was not a delay, it was the very thing that made the becoming possible.
So if your arms feel empty today…
If your project feels stalled behind a glass wall you cannot get through…
Take heart.
You have not lost your calling.
You are simply in the chapter of Growth in Secret.
What was conceived in your heart is being perfected in the quiet.
Hold on to the peace.
Don’t rush to reveal your fruit.
It will be worth every second of the wait.
Let’s grow lighter together,
